Oct 29, 2021 · It only seems to be for Hulu live and only some channels. Usually I watch ID on Hulu live and keep it on all night while I sleep. When it goes to the next show, which is at the top of the hour, it just goes back to the home screen and I have to go back into Hulu live and select ID to watch the next show. March 9, 2020 This once happened to me and I was able to fix mine with option one below: Try this first: clear the cache for the app on your Firestick. If you go to settings, Apps, Manage Installed Apps then find the Hulu app. When you select it there will be a couple of things you can clear.Re: FOX NEWS dropping off on HULU and reverts to ROKU home screen on the hour. Every few days my roku ultra 2020 goes back to home screen only on the espn,pluto, and roku channel apps. On the rest 10 more or so like discovery plus, you tube, prime video and some others work perfectly. A restart fixes the problem and a few days later I have to restart again.

Jun 16, 2023 · Re: Hulu + Live App reverts to home screen. This has been going on for 2 weeks. I have spent tons of time with Hulu, removing app, Power cycle, etc. I have 2 firestick and 2 roku. It is only happening on the Roku. Will play for about 30 minutes or so and then reverts back to home screen. I have done everything. Many times, simply removing and re-adding the Hulu channel on the device will resolve issues with Hulu freezing. In addition to re-adding your Hulu channel, you may also want to sign out of and back into your account with your streaming device. This will often reset the device cache and resolve issues with content streams freezing.
