For the last week the light has been on and not shut off. I scanned the car for codes and the scanner came back with P0597. I cleared the code and it has not returned, yet.You will likely discover a P0700 in the ECM, but the TCM will contain the transmission code. My guess is the TCM has a problem upshifting into one of the higher gears so it is inhibiting the shifts.
